Job Requirements:

  •  Minimum 0-1 years of experience in technical support related to enterprise hardware and software
  •  Installing windows / Unix flavor OS and configuring various application softwares like MS Office / MS Outlook for mail and internet access
  •  Installation of Network devices and trouble shooting of these devices
  •  Good knowledge / awareness on LAN and other network fundamentals and designs
  •  Minimum Bachelor's Degree qualification is required
  •  Ability to communicate with end users
  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills

Job Description:

  •  Escalating IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary
  •  Responsible for managing backups and restoration
  •  Diagnosing and resolving technical issues
  •  Providing desktop and server support
  •  Installing authorized software in laptops and desktops
  •  Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date
  •  Antivirus installation for all desktops and laptops
  •  Fault finding in laptops and desktops
  •  Making of Cat 5 e network cables where necessary
  •  Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance with HR requirements
  •  Providing support to MAC PCs
  •  Support engineers are responsible for the post-deployment support of custom solutions, provide second-line support to customers, as well as technical assistance to remote implementation teams working on customer engagements
